Inspired Creations Contest : Breakfast Buffet Reception

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I'm thrilled that today our Inspired Creations contest entry is featured on the lovely & inspiring Elizabeth Anne Designs!! Head over & check it out for even more details!

I was so lucky to have the opportunity to work with Elizabeth & Chris, the talented husband & wife team behind Dapper Paper and the incredible & amazing Leila of Olive Juice Photography

We created a lovely Southern-Style breakfast reception which would be perfect for a unique rehearsal dinner or a laid-back wedding reception.

We wanted to create an idea that was thoughtful, budget friendly & full of ideas that you can use for a fete of any kind.

A farmhouse dresser is stocked with traditional southern favorites, such as grits, sliced tomatoes, flapjacks & biscuits 'n jelly. Dapper Paper created the sweet food labels, along with other signage for the shoot.

Gorgeous hooks from Athropologie, nailed to a tree, hold our escort cards.

Dapper Paper created the sweetest recipe card favors, complete with a recipe for Grandma's Biscuits! You can now purchase these adorable cards {blank so you can customize them} by visiting their shop

The lighting makes this shoot look so airy and gorgeous! Also, the use of the vintage dresser and cupcake tin is so creative. This makes me long for an outdoor weekend brunch!

It's so funny, I was just talking to a friend about how "over" huge weddings and parties with ornate details I seem to be these days. Nothing has felt original to me lately, you know? And then? Dun, dun, duuuuun, I see this post. I love it!! What a great idea to keep it festive but low-key and comfortable. Yippie!
