At My Table : Rusic Dinner Party

Good Afternoon and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was absolutely lovely!

I wanted to share a more in-depth look of the At My Table shoot I created for my guest post on The Sweetest Occasion!

I set up my table between two windows with a gallery wall of empty frames as my backdrop. I used a barnwood tray to house champagne and glasses for an after dinner toast, as well as a wooden cutting board for some fresh pain rustique and slab of stained wood for a place mat.

I made some delightful lavender-vanilla cupcakes, decorated simply with lavender sprigs.

Mint tea is one of my all time favorite things, so I set up a little tea bar next to the desserts.

For favors, I set up some chairs to hold an array of cookbooks for "guests" to take home, placed underneath a garland of vintage botanical prints.

I used potted lavender & herbs from my garden in lieu of flowers, and they also inspired my menu, Spinach Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce and a delicious Rosemary Butter to pair with the bread.

I hope you find ideas and inspiration At My Table

I wanted to also let you know that the darling Reese from Rambles with Reese has interviewed me and you can check it out on her blog today!

I absolutely adore this photo shoot, your dress, the wine, the menu, the cutest, simplest cupcakes ever. I'm loving all the lavender recipes I've been seeing lately. The vacant photo frames on the wall definitely have a mystique, really groovy idea!

Will be following along. Love the sweet, airy feel of your blog!

I love the idea of the cupcakes being so simple with the lavender sprigs on top. I bet the are AMAZING... vanilla lavender sounds so special. I will have to give it a whirl sometime. I also think the idea of guests taking home cookbooks is amazing! Love it ALL!

Erin, your work is fantastic. One day, when I need a stylist and a photographer, I know precisely who I'm going to call. I'm also going to have to try those cupcakes -- they sound so delicious!!

The design and layout of the different scenes look fragile and beautiful...if that makes any sense. And the photos are absolutely lovely.

Just how talented are you, girlfriend!???! The styling, the creativity (why did I not think of random cook books as gifts?), the interiors, the photos. You are out of this world good!

Good to be back.

Love to you, Mon
