Cake & Lemonade!

Two of my favorite things!

I had so much fun putting together this little shoot for Megan at Forget Me Knot Weddings! There are lots of fun DIY elements you can use for your wedding or holiday party. Fabric strips turned festive garland? Vintage china - candlestick cakestand? Blue glass and pretty drink stirrers? Yes, yes and yes!

I think simple lavender bouquets are my new favorite thing!

Thank you to Leila of Olive Juice Photography for taking these absolutely gorgeous, vintage- looking images! It was just the type of photography I had in mind to pair with this shoot.

And thanks so much to Megan for having me guest post on your lovely blog!

Oh wow, so lovely! I love a nice lavender bouquet too, and the sweet white lace around them here makes them look even nicer :) Gorgeous photos from Leila too, she is such an inspiration to me in terms of being able to create beautiful images - you both make a great team! x

Erin, I think you need to write a book someday and share your secrets. Everything about this shoot is just gorgeous. And now, I'm really craving a piece of cake (it's only 6am)! Maybe I'll make one for my Halloween treat... Have a fantastic weekend, my dear!
