The turkey just doesn't excite me anymore. My brother and I are talking about usurping Thanksgiving next year and planning a vegetarian one with lots of delicious dishes. I'm with you -- those sweet and treats are the best. Happy Thanksgiving, Erin!

Thanksgiving...I'm a vegetarian also, leaning more towards Vegan. My fiance's daughter made a Vegan Thanksgiving for us, including Vegan desserts. It was amazing, and yummy, hope yours was too!
I'm an American newly arrived in Amsterdam (moved here with my Dutch boyfriend). I greatly missed the whole Americana spirit of the day but we had our own little celebration.
