An Impromptu Barn Picnic

A few weeks back when we were invited to HammerSky to photograph Harvest, the property owners put my styling skills to work. They asked if I could set the table for a picnic for a small group of guests who were stopping by the vineyard.

I utilized the items the vineyard had on hand...a couple tablecloths, plates & flatware, floral arrangements and even some Fall pumpkins! Since it had just rained the night before, I set up in the venue's gorgeous barn....

I used the vineyard's charming patterned textiles and plates, but the real stars of the show were the gorgeous planked wood Restoration Hardware farm tables. They are so amazingly beautiful!

Lunch was catered by Farmstand 46.

I am in LOVE with this chalkboard from Terrain! Kim actually purchased it after seeing it on one of my shopping lists! Love that.

And then the guests arrived...

Thank you to Kim & Doug for trusting your guests with me. Throwing an impromptu barn picnic was just another amazing experience I had while visiting HammerSky last month!

This looks so enjoyable and the scene is set beautifully! I've always adored mismatched, oversized seating at the head of the table. LOVELY!
