This weekend Greg + I packed up our car and attempted to drive to Big Bear [a resort town in the mountains near Los Angeles]. We knew there was a TON of snow, but what we didn't know was that the conditions were so bad that the roads were closed to non-residents!

We were bummed at first, but determined to sleep in a cabin, play in the snow + drink too much hot chocolate! We weaseled our way up the mountain [thank you GPS!] and were able to rent the most darling little cottage in Lake Arrowhead. We had an amazing time!
[and lots of fun with my lensbaby!]

A Wedding Shoot! Part 1

I'm so excited about today's post! 

I've been waiting to share this project with you + the time is finally right! 

My lovely friends Mary + Scott have started an exciting new business venture! They are Floataway Studios, a photography & videography team, beautifully capturing weddings, engagements, and more! 

This shoot was such fun! Mary suggested setting up in a beautiful field in Malibu. Greg + I modeled.  Mary + I collaborated on the styling for the shoot + I really loved how it turned out. The look was simple + sweet and vintage inspired, with antique dressers full of champagne and mason jars with simple white florals.
