It makes me seriously happy that it's spring!

Not only is the Lovely Leila from Olive Juice Photo, a talented photographer, she is also amazingly creative & made over this dresser & end tables that we found at a local thrift store. Incredible, right?

You just might be seeing more of these pieces soon! Leila and I have some exciting news to tell you about a new venture we're starting..we can't wait to share more about it!

Despite getting a lot of flack from well meaning family & friends, I never wavered on the idea of having one long table where all our guests could share a meal during our reception. I've seen this idea becoming more and more popular and I have to say, I just adore it!

Speaking of giveways, I won the most incredible giveaway last week! Jodi from Passport in my Pocket gave away a beautiful scarf from Anthropologie.. I was beside myself when I saw that I had won! I've worn it like crazy since it arrived!

Have a sweet Weekend!

Any fun plans? I'm using this weekend as an opportunity to catch up on work.. and relaxation! But I'm hoping to squeeze in a bike ride {or two!} and a trip to the flea market with Leila!

I'm really excited to share some of the design boards I created for a client who's throwing her best friend a baby shower at the end of May! 

Julie wanted help with creating a concept & design consulting to put the concept into action. Because she's lucky enough to have a meadow as her backyard {jealous!} I came up with the idea of "A Baby Shower in a Field" 

We're going with a pink theme for the sweet baby girl arriving this summer! The mother-to-be loves birds & photography, so the picnic tables placed in the meadow will be decorated with charming birds nests and vintage cameras.

For favors, Julie will offer an abundance of flowers in galvanized buckets with mini chalkboards listing the flower type ~ guests will feel like they're at a quaint Parisian market! {reminiscent of this sweet idea}

Guests will munch on cheese, small appetizers and sip rose wine. For desert, they'll enjoy simple vanilla cupcakes, frosted with pink strawberry icing.
