Inspiration Board: New England Charm

Happy Weekend!

What do you have planned? My thoughts are in New England today! I'm kind of, sort of supposed to be there this weekend with my awesome family and our good friends, but we decided we had too much going on to take the trip. So I'll be there in spirit, feeling the sweet, salty air, decked out in something nautical-chic and eating lobster by the sea.

The most charming cake bunting ever!

I would love to have a cozy reading nook like this in my home!

I love the gorgeous, muted tones of this bouquet.

Adoring this photo of stacks of bread at the market.

Loving the beach-y vibe of this photo.. and these bottles would make perfect escort cards!

You have to see this gorgeous shoot! My lovely blog friend Mara and her boyfriend were the gorgeous models!! {part 1, part 2}

I love this photo of homegrown tomatoes! I've been devouring sweet tomatoes all summer long, coming up with new and creative recipes for them.

I love the soft, vintage vibe of this photo!

This dreamy bath is the perfect combo of rustic and elegant.

I love this photograph of such a sweet moment between these two newlyweds.

What are your plans?

I'm headed to the desert for a bachelorette party. I'm SO exited to lay by the pool, relax, have some drinks and celebrate the loveliest bride-to-be!
Have the best weekend!

Inspiration Board: A French Country Fete!

Good Morning!

Today I wanted to share three inspiration boards I created for a guest post on my friend Wendy's blog, Just Wenderful!
I've had France on the mind lately...between my French Lessons, a French Country Inspired wedding I'm styling next year, and weekly trips to my favorite new neighborhood French Bistro.

The first board shows the lovely setting.

I'm imaging overgrown dirt roads leading up to a gorgeous chateau. Wooded paths & lavender surround a tent set up in a field, all aglow with string lights and boasting comfy antique couches, a vintage rug and an abundance of grainsack pillows.

The next board shows the details...always my favorite!

The decor is rustic, yet classic with rusty jars full of lavender, mismatched vintage silverware and china, charming paper goods, antique watering cans and a wildflower table runner. Set upon an old pillar is a tower of macarons! which are served in lieu of a traditional wedding cake.

The last board shows the attire. Ruffles, tulle and blush tones.. le swoon!

Tones and fabrics like these work well in the naturally gorgeous setting. The bridesmaids wear dresses of their choosing in neutral tones. The groom is in a comfortable, yet classic suit and the rings are unique hammered gold..hers featuring a gorgeous sparkly stone!

I want to thank Wendy of Just Wenderful for asking me to guest blog and sharing these boards on her blog yesterday! Be sure to head over and check out the post and spend some time getting inspired by her lovely and thoughtful blog!

Guest post on Love & Lavender : Sweet Summer Sangria

I hope you had a chance to pop over to Love & Lavender last week to check out my guest post. L&L is definitely one of my favorite blogs, full of inspiration and fun posts!

Here is a re-cap of my guest post...

This recipe makes the easiest, most basic and most delicious sangria! It's definitely my go-to when I'm hosting an event or having a few friends over.

It's so easy to customize by adding in your favorite fruits (think peaches, raspberries and apples!) or using white wine instead of red.

I have a few more guest posts and some fun news to share with you soon!
