Cake & Lemonade!

Two of my favorite things!

I had so much fun putting together this little shoot for Megan at Forget Me Knot Weddings! There are lots of fun DIY elements you can use for your wedding or holiday party. Fabric strips turned festive garland? Vintage china - candlestick cakestand? Blue glass and pretty drink stirrers? Yes, yes and yes!

I think simple lavender bouquets are my new favorite thing!

Thank you to Leila of Olive Juice Photography for taking these absolutely gorgeous, vintage- looking images! It was just the type of photography I had in mind to pair with this shoot.

And thanks so much to Megan for having me guest post on your lovely blog!

Interview on IHOD

Happy Monday! I'm super excited because the the loveliest of lovelies, Anna Liesemeyer of In Honor of Design has interviewed me for her "Meet the Blogger" series! If you haven't visited her blog before, I'm sure you will be happily overwhelmed by all the beauty she shares with her readers.

On another note, I am so backed up on posts for the blog. I have some interior design projects, another zumi video, a shoot, inspiration boards, shopping lists and more to share! It's been crazy around here already plugging away for all the weddings next year...I actually create an inspiration blog for EVERY couple I work with to share design ideas.. so believe me when I say I have been blogging- just not here!!  I hope to catch up very soon.

Vintage Video {Mike & Amy}

I wanted to share this sweet little super-8 style video I created of Amy & Mike's wedding a few weeks ago. I love bringing my pocket-sized zumi camera with me everywhere so I can create fun, whimsical videos at the drop of a hat!

I hope you enjoy another peek into this sweet wedding, a little behind the scenes action and the darling faces of some cute kiddos!

Also, apologies to anyone who came to visit earlier and were greeted with a generic parked web-page! We had a bit of technically difficulty this morning, but the good news is we're back and that shouldn't happen again!

Featured in Southern Weddings Magazine!

I would like to say a big Thank You to Southern Weddings Magazine for including Dandelion & Grey as one of their top blogs! The spread looks amazing and the kind words they said about me & my blog absolutely made my day! I am so honored to be written up alongside so many truly astounding blogs.

The issue is out on news stands if you are interested in picking up a copy!

Have a lovely weekend!

Inspiration Board: Apple Orchard

I love the idea of holding a relaxing fall dinner or an intimate fall wedding out in an orchard! We had some heavy rain the past few days in LA {though its sunny and warm now} and it has me so ready for sweaters, boots and comfort food. Any good suggestions where to go for an apple-picking trip somewhere near Los Angeles? I've always wanted to do that!

Sneak Peek : Mike & Amy

Mike and Amy are such an amazing couple! Their love for each other is so apparent.
They have been so much fun to work with from day one and Greg and I have grown to think of them as friends. I was so honored to be a part of their beautiful day!

I will be sharing many more photos, details about their day & even a super-8 style mini video I shot of this wedding in the coming weeks!
