Sneak Peek: Nguyet's Baby Shower

This event is close to my heart! My only brother + his adorable and sweet wife, Nguyet, are about to become parent's for the first time! I know they will be incredible at it + their daughter will be so loved.

My mom + Nguyet's sister, cousin + I threw the shower last Saturday. It was originally supposed to be held in my parent's charming backyard, but the weather was freezing {rare for southern CA, even in February!} so it had to be moved to the community center down the street. While this wasn't exactly music to my ears, I was grateful we had a nice warm space to celebrate.

Here are a few photos of the day {mainly of the dessert table!} There are many more, so I will be doing a full post soon!

Photography + Paper Goods : Leila Brewster
Styling + Floral Design : Dandelion & Grey
All treats were baked by the mom to be!

Such a beautiful party and for such a wonderful reason. I have to admit that after looking at those pics I'm finding myself trying to justify cup cakes to dinner...

I love all the pretty details of the party - the bundt cake banner, the tiny plants (in salt dips?), the birdies in the brownies, etc etc! Thanks for sharing!

Wedding planning may seem like a very overwhelming task to embark upon when you first start to think about it. So what you need to do is to break it down into smaller more manageable parts. Give yourself a realistic timeline to plan your wedding. Unless you have a particular date in mind that you absolutely want to meet, then feel free to enjoy your engagement for a while and discuss with your partner what would work best as far as setting a date

Beautifull arrangements....The small birdies banners on the brownies and the cupcakes were very attractive.
